This exhibition centers on a rare series of color photographs that Francesca Woodman staged in her New York apartment in 1979. In these images, and black and white photographs from the same period, Woodman contorts and inserts her body into space and architecture, at times even “performing” classical sculpture, culminating in her monumental blueprint Caryatids.
